Ginny Picot

Quality Assurance Manager

Ginny Picot is the Quality Assurance Manager for the UKCRC registered Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) in the School of Public Health, within the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College.

A graduate in Biochemistry from the University of Surrey, Ginny started her career as a bioanalyst within the Pharmaceutical industry, where she worked for over 15 years. This was followed by 12 years as a self-employed consultant on computer systems validation, compliance and quality management, which lead to Ginny joining Imperial College in 2009 as the validation and test team leader for the College’s electronic clinical trials system, InForm. In June 2014 Ginny moved to the position of ICTU Quality Assurance Manager, and is now responsible for ensuring that clinical trials within ICTU are conducted to the standards required by Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and maintaining the Quality Management system.

Ginny is a Chartered Scientist, member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and member of the Research Quality Association.
