About ICTU

The Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) is a research unit based at Imperial College London which designs and delivers world-class clinical trials of all phases.

Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) is a fully registered UKCRC Trials Unit within the School of Public Health at Imperial College, London. As an Academic Research Organisation, ICTU’s mission is to deliver excellence in the design, conduct and dissemination of clinical trials of all phases and through this to deliver major local, national and international health benefits for patients

ICTU is involved in co-ordinating clinical trials that evaluate the following:

Existing drug treatments New drug treatments
Medical devices Surgery
Nutrition or lifestyle interventions Diagnostic tests

The research sites conducting the trials are located all over the world, but almost always include UK sites. ICTU also conducts international observational and population studies across a range of disease areas.
